Jessica Duddleston, M.D.

Jessica Duddleston, M.D. is a board-certified ophthalmologist at Alabama Vision Institute, serving patients in Birmingham. Dr. Duddleston specializes in cataract surgery, refractive procedures such as LASIK, medical and surgical glaucoma, diabetic eye exams, macular degeneration, and Plaquenil eye screenings.

Dr. Duddleston completed her ophthalmology residency at the distinguished University of North Carolina where she was elected chief resident during her senior year and received Resident Teacher of the year award. Her work is published in Ophthalmology Retina journal and has presented her work at Ophthalmology conferences including Women in Ophthalmology and American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Duddleston and her husband both grew up in Jackson, MS and met during their medical training. They enjoy mountain bike riding, hiking, and traveling. In her spare time, Dr. Duddleston also enjoys running long-distance and spending time with her daughter and her goldendoodle puppy, Charlie.
