Holly Young, O.D.

Holly Young, O.D. is an optometrist at Alabama Vision Center, serving patients in Birmingham. Dr. Young provides comprehensive eye exams and vision care for both adult and pediatric patients while detecting medical eye diseases such as cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetes. She fits eyeglasses and contact lenses and provides preoperative and postoperative care for cataract surgery and LASIK.

Dr. Young earned her optometry degree from the University of Alabama School of Optometry. She is a member of the Alabama Optometric Association. After an externship with Alabama Vision Center, she joined the practice in June 2010.

Outside of the office, Dr. Young and her husband are busy with their three children. They enjoy cheering for the Ole Miss Rebels and spending time at the lake.
