Andrew Bartlett, M.D. FAAO is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist at Alabama Vision Institute, serving patients in Birmingham and surrounding areas. Dr. Bartlett specializes in blade-free all laser custom LASIK vision correction, “no stitch” cataract surgery, refractive lens exchange with bifocal implants, and corneal transplantation surgery.
Dr. Bartlett educates students at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Optometry with recurring lectures and speaking engagements. He is also a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Bartlett joined Alabama Vision Center upon graduating from his fellowship in 2016 and is proud to provide the citizens of the Birmingham area with the highest level of surgical and clinical care.
Dr. Bartlett and his wife have a son who keeps them busy and is a true joy. They enjoy spending time on the lake, and playing with their dog, Harvey. All three are avid Alabama Football fans. Additionally, Dr. Bartlett enjoys playing basketball and golf in his spare time.
